Studying up on night photography now following my more or less first session outside a couple of months ago. Found this gem that is actually really neat but perhaps a bit nerdy:
Might there be some other "immaterials" that could be illustrated in the same way? Sleep patterns? Feng-shui whatever? Hmm...

Spotify music blogs
Finally found what seems like a decent Spotify music blog - Pansentinent. Having some fun with their playlists now, the stand-up comedy versions. Need to find some more good sources for music on spotify, shelling out a lot of money for it with a very limited discovery engine...
Black and white
Found some more on the theme of turning color images into black and white. I think I'll try using the "virtual copy" function in Lightroom to test this out. In the shots linked below many use a long exposure to soften up the sky, seems really effective...
45 more B&W architecture photos here
There is also an application named "silver e-fex" or something similar that many recommend... Need to check that out

Savage Skulls & Douster feat Robyn - Bad Gal
Two things in this I want to try - (1) That vintage look that seems to be near everywhere now, (must be some simple color correction) and (2) the video editing once I get around to it. The "car jerkiness" thingy would be nice to know how to do

DSLR video workflow
Something to try out for fun once I get serious about testing out shooting videos.
Seems to be a straightforward workflow support to maximize retention of as much raw data as possible. Now I just need to find an open-sourced video editor that enables all that composing and color correcting goodness. There is an awful lot of instruction videos over at Vimeo - apparently I need a z-finder, a focus ring, most probably one of those track-thingies and a model. Sheesh... I'll stick to photos for now.
Finally got the "GIMP 2.6 for photographers" and the "Scribus 1.3.5 Beginners Guide" books today. Yay workflow development. Now I just need to find some time. Crap.

Car mount
This guy even has the same camera as me! I wish I had this when we took that roadtrip down to Amsterdam and France.
For ~90$ this thing has some serious value...

Nightscene in New York
I want to try this out... Capturing a city in a new way. Maybe black&white is the way to go? How would it look if it was raining?
